Shin Oblander

About Me:

I am an assistant professor at the UBC Sauder School of Business in the Marketing and Behavioural Science division.
I am primarily a methodologist, working on both statistical/econometric methods and probabilistic machine learning methods for modeling consumer decision-making.
My research has been published in Marketing Science and Psychological Science. I am in the top 1% of authors on SSRN by downloads. My work has been featured in news outlets such as the Wall Street Journal and New York Magazine.
My pronouns are they/them.
